Carlos Figueredo

He focuses primarily on startups in the fields of life sciences, deeptech, and healthcare.

Carlos began his professional career in Venezuela, working in wealth management for a multi-family office, where he gained valuable experience in the private markets through secondary investments in late-stage private companies. After relocating to Germany, he worked for a startup consultancy and a venture fund-of-funds before joining bmp Ventures.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in finance, and an MBA from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He also studied in Brazil and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English and German.
