New € 50 million venture capital fund of IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt

IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, has launched the new venture capital fund RKF III with a volume of EUR 50 million.

 

The fund is financed by funds from the state and the European Union and invests in innovative technology companies in Saxony-Anhalt in the company phases of seed, startup and growth. The offer is mainly for company founders, but also for experienced SMEs with product or process innovation. The fund supports companies with risk capital through equity and silent investments of up to EUR 10 million over various financing rounds.

 

The fund is managed by bmp Beteiligungsmanagement AG, a venture capital company with offices in Berlin and Magdeburg. Since 1997, bmp has been investing in innovative companies with outstanding management teams and supports them in the company's development. With a track record of over 250 investments from almost all technology segments, more than 100 exits and 20 IPOs, bmp is one of the most experienced venture capital investors in Germany.
